I have recently been given the occasion to borrow teaching space at my neighborhood art studio. The owner of this comfortable location, Picasso’s Art Studio in Upper Arlington, Columbus, has partnered with me in offering four workshops for teen writers this August. So, young writers, get your notebooks ready! We’ll begin at the end of July and meet four consecutive Sundays. Each class includes two hours of brainstorming and instruction. The final project is a six page novella with a cover created by the author.
Workshop dates are August 28, September 4, 11, and 18 from 2 pm to 4 pm. Address is Picasso’s Studio-Upper Arlington, 1974 N. Mallway Dr., Columbus, OH 43221. The studio is on the same street that leads to Jones Middle School. Plenty of street parking available. Fee is $125 per student.
